Hello Nerds Like Me Community, Thank you to those who were able to attend another fantastic Nerds Like Me meetup! Special thanks to Bradley Golden for delivering an insightful session on vibe-coding. Bradley Golden, with his decade of full-stack experience, expertly guided us from rapid, lightweight prototyping to more sophisticated implementations. His live demonstration vibe-coding two platforms simultaneously—Claude 4 vs. Cursor using Gemini 2.5 Pro—was especially impressive!

That way I can at least get notified when someone is interested Absolutely! Formspree is perfect for this - you can use it standalone to get email notifications whenever someone signs up. It's super simple and doesn't require any backend setup. Here's how to modify your form to work with Formspree: Nerds Like Me - AI Meetup Website Interaction artifact - Version 3 Perfect! I've updated your form to work with Formspree. Here's what you need to do: Setup Steps: 1. Go to formspree.io and sign up (free plan gives you 50 submissions/month) 2. Create a new form and get your form ID 3. Replace YOUR_FORM_ID in the form action with your actual Formspree form ID • It will look like: https://formspree.io/f/xq[unreadable] (example) 4. Set your email in Formspree dashboard to receive notifications What This Does: • Email notifications: You'll get an email every time someone signs up • Clean subject line: 'New Nerds Like Me Newsletter Signup' • Spam protection: Formspree handles this automatically • Data collection: You can view all submissions in your Formspree dashboard! Bonus Features You Can Add Later: • Thank you page: Create a simple thank you.html page for after signup • Auto-responder: Send automatic welcome emails to new signups • Export data: Download your email list as CSV to import into a proper email service later The form will now actually work! When someone enters their email and clicks 'Join Newsletter,' Formspree will: 1. Send you an email notification with their email address 2. Store the submission in your Formspree dashboard 3.
