Discussion
Matt will walk through two converging forces in computing hardware. First, the semiconductor technology underpinning today’s AI operations is approaching the limits of Moore’s Law, and new forms of innovation are emerging to push the field forward. Second, quantum computing is gaining real momentum, with Chicago establishing itself as a leader in the quantum computing industry. This is a wide-ranging conversation about where computing hardware is headed and what it means for the people building on top of it.
