Featured Speaker: Phil Lazarus, VDC Manager at Turner Construction

Bio:
Phil Lazarus is VDC Manager at Turner Construction, where he leads digital delivery on some of the nation’s largest professional sports facilities. His career spans more than thirty years across architecture, construction, and digital transformation in the US, Asia, and the Middle East, with a portfolio that includes the O’Hare International Airport terminal program, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, and multiple NFL stadiums.

Discussion:
Phil has spent three decades learning what it actually takes to move organizations from legacy workflows into digital delivery. In this session, he shares lessons on earning trust with skeptical teams, building the credibility flywheel that sustains executive buy-in, and navigating the gap between buying technology and changing how people work. He will address AI’s emerging role with precision: what it can do today, what it cannot, and the mentorship gap that opens when automation removes the training ground for the next generation. The principles are drawn from construction but apply to any industry navigating the shift to digital and AI.
