Battle of the AI Engineers - Bradley Golden vs JC Grubbs

Nerds Like Me – August 25th Meetup

For the first time ever, tonight’s session is a head-to-head build-off. Two engineers will each have 10 minutes to gather product requirements directly from you, the audience. We’ll then split into two groups to watch the magic happen as each engineer brings the product to life in a 20-minute build.
After that, we come back together for a showcase of each completed product, followed by a Q&A covering how the product was made, what they’d do to finish it, and what made their technique unique. The audience picks the winner.

Bradley Golden is a pragmatic software engineer and Founder of Recursive Systems, currently working as a Fractional CTO based in Chicago, Illinois. He helps organizations move from strategy to execution by making smart, grounded technology decisions. A University of Illinois at Chicago graduate, he’s also a prolific open-source contributor on GitHub, with dozens of repositories and active work on Elixir-based projects like beamlens, a runtime intelligence tool for the BEAM virtual machine. His recent contributions span multiple Recursive Systems projects, reflecting a hands-on, builder-oriented approach to technical leadership.
