Have you ever wanted to understand what actually goes into your pint glass beyond just “hops and malt”? Have you wondered about the biological difference between ales and lagers, or how water chemistry completely changes the profile of a stout? For this special Nerds Like Me event, we will be geeking out over the science and craft of brewing. No snobbery, no pretense. Just a room full of curious people getting deeper than “I like the IPA.”

Beermiscuous - our local gathering spot for craft beer enthusiasts, featuring an exceptional selection of local and international brews in a relaxed, community-focused setting.

What to Expect

Think of this as a guided teardown of beer. We’ll dig into how beer is made, what actually differentiates styles and regions, why certain pairings work (and the science behind it), and how to taste like you know what you’re looking for.
